Still In Beautiful Denmark!

Still in beautiful Denmark where the weather has been gorgeous and the family bonding even more wonderful!

Here are some more pics so you can all live vicariously through us!!

One of my favourite shots from our trip over here. Caedence is catching up on some business during our stopover in Seattle!

His 'princess' had just arrived (that's what he calls her!)

Although we look alike, I've discovered that the way we are really similar is that we are both VERY expressive!!! It's nice to know I'm not alone in the world!

As you can see here...Lindbjerg's are not shy, and definitely use body language to express ourselves...

A small family gathering on the porch of Karen's new farm (left to right: Karen, Farmor, Kirsten, and my Dad)

Caedence and another of his cousins, get shoulder rides all the way to the park (check out my uncle and my Dad's matching outfits!)

My Dad's big brother...

One of Caedence's favourite places here in Give (5 minutes away)

David's sister, Annette, her little boy Magnus and Caed.

Caedence introducing his cousin to the wonderful world of laptops and Diego!

Denmark

It has been forever since I've posted, so I'm sure that no one is checking anymore...however, because I am now in Denmark, it is good way for me to let my whole family know about what is going on, and I can share some pictures also.

We have been having a wonderful time, even though our first night in Denmark was difficult (Caedence fell asleep great -- 10pm and woke up at 2am. He was then awake from 2am until 9am. We then fell asleep and I woke up at 1:30pm and tried to wake him up but couldn't until almost 3pm). Regardless of the first night, the next night we went to bed at 1:20 am and slept until 10am, then last night 12pm and slept until 9:30, and as we speak or write he has fallen asleep which is 10:25, so I am hoping he will sleep until the morning.

Enough about sleep. Our journey over here was great. Caedence loved every airplane we had to go on (2 small ones and one big one) and had a long sleep on the floor in the big airplane for most of the long flight (here I am talking about sleep again!!).

We have already visited with many relatives and Caedence is getting to know his Aunty Kirsten and a few of his cousins as well. We had a wonderful visit with my cousin Tommy, Bitten, their son Elias, my cousin Helena, who I went to Greece with when I was 20 and my Tommy's sister and her new baby, Luca (yes another one -- this one is a girl!).

Please continue to pray for me and Caedence or keep us in your thoughts. I already love what God is teaching me on this journey and look forward to many more family visits.

Much love to you all!
Lalainia and Caedence

I Love Love...Don't you just Love, Love?

The title is one of my favourite lines from a childhood movie that I used to watch all the time. It's said by this ditz who's dancing with a cowboy! It's pretty funny!

Anyway, just wanted to say Happy Belated Valentines Day to both those who love Valentines and hate it (along with Charlie Brown!).
I just had to write a little bit in tribute to my fabulous husband!! A dozen crimson tipped yellow roses, a Harry Connick Jr. CD, a romantic dinner and...18 AMAZING years!!

For all of you out there who have been lucky enough to find Mr. or Mrs. Right -- I congratulate you, and encouarge you to hold fast to each other. And for those of you still looking -- although marriage can have it's ups and downs, finding the RIGHT person is key to the success! You're better off on your own then to be 'mismatched' for the sake of finding something that will probably never be there.

To my best friend, companion, encourager, gracefilled, loving and HOT husband --
I LOVE YOU!!!!!
Forever is looking pretty darn good!!!

And the Shows Are...?

THEATRE UNDER THE STARS Presents:

Well, last night TUTS made it's 'BIG' announcement for the summer season of 2007. As you can see -- we are doing Grease and Oklahoma -- directed by the same people that were asked last year. I know it's not as exciting as a brand 'new' announcement with new shows BUT these are fantastic shows that deserve a chance to be done! I am incredibly excited to be directing and will get to announce my choreographer AND musical director very soon.

I hope a ton of you come out to the auditions which will be:
February 24 & 25 10-5pm with call backs the following weekend.
It's going to be a fabulous summer under the stars, once again!

Zeyn Ali

I went to Zeyn Ali's memorial today, downtown at Coastal Church. It was beautiful...so incredibly moving! It was amazing to see so many people, connected in someway, celebrating the life of one so kind, dynamic and talented.
But it struck me, more then anything, that people blaze a trail through their lives so fast, they forget to hold on to those around them. Only through life shattering moments, or times of immense joy do we take the time to look into each others eyes, hold each others hands, and speak words of kindness, support, and love.

Thank you to all of you who attended, to those whom I spoke with, and to those who contributed to such an amazing service. It is my prayer that we continue on from this day, remembering our need for each other.

Thank you Zeyn for sharing everything that you were with so many people -- I know you are at peace and filled with contentment in your new home!

OVATION AWARDS!!!

Hey everyone!
Sorry I STILL haven't posted my New York pics 'movie' -- believe it or not, I am working on it as we 'speak'...but I wanted to remind everyone about the 'Ovation Awards' -- the 'people's choice' awards -- or who has the biggest cast that will get out and vote!!!

So if I've had the priviledge of working with someone who is reading this -- VOTE!!! Vote for yourself (your show), or who you think REALLY deserves it (as long as it's one of my shows...he! he!).

Seriously -- it's a really fun night filled with theatre 'angst', some good singing, and lots of friendly faces that you NEVER get to see!!!

I hope I will see you ALL there!!!!!!

Here's the link to vote (ANYONE CAN VOTE SO GET ALL YOUR RELATIVES TOO!!):
